Join us on Sunday, October 4 for a Halloween themed 5K run or walk beginning at Koch park and winding through the Marolt foot path and open space with your furry friends, or without! This is a timed race with cash prizes for top 3 female and male finishers. All net proceeds benefit the Friends of the Aspen Animal Shelter. Please have your pets come in costume! There will be prizes for best costumes and raffle prizes, food trucks, etc.

MEET MEAGHAN
RUBEY
Meaghan has been passionate about helping shelter dogs her entire life. This includes fostering, adopting and supporting multiple rescue organizations over the past 30 years, including Aspen Animal Shelter, Scout’s Honor Rescue, Houston PetSet, Houston Humane Society, BETA Lebanon. She lives full time in Aspen with her husband of 26 years and her 4 rescue dogs, Butters, Toast, Benny and Remy.
